Akkineni Nagarjuna has taken to X on the occasion of Sankranthi to share some nostalgic stories about Annapurna Studios. The prestigious studios was established five decades ago. The actor shared a video, in which he recollected some memories with the studios.
“50 years ago my father Akkineni Nageswara Rao, envisioned a place where dreams would take flight. Annapurna Studios was born on Sankranti, and today, we celebrate 50 glorious years of storytelling and innovation. 💐Thank you for your love and support! 🙏” posted Nagarjuna on X.
In the video, we can see Nagarjuna walking around the studio, revealing how the studio was erected in 1975. He explained that ANR named the studio after his wife’s name, Annapurna, as he believed that there is a woman behind the success of every man.
Nag also revealed the tradition of Annapurna Studios to have breakfast with the entire studio family on the occasion of Sankranthi, which they are taking it forward.
