Kalki 2 Revolves Around 3 Characters

Kalki 2898 AD became a big hit at the box office. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film had Prabhas playing the titular role. The film became the biggest grosser in Telugu cinema at the time of release.

The team has already confirmed the second part. The film’s producer, Ashwini Dutt, recently opened up on the sequel.

Ashwini Dutt mentioned that the second part majorly revolves around three characters – Kamal Haasan, Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan.

In the film’s first part, there are a lot of characters and the story travels from one edge to another edge. Amitabh Bachchan’s character has a lot of significance in the first part, while Kamal Haasan’s role is very limited.

A lot of fans are disappointed with the same. Even during the promotions, Kamal kept on saying that his role will be lengthy in the second part.

“Kamal Haasan will be seen for a maximum screen time in the film. The scenes between Prabhas and Kamal will be interesting. Amitabh will also have significance. Deepika’s role will also have prominence. I don’t think the second part features new faces,” clarified Ashwini Dutt, about the sequel.

Kalki opened to a revenue of 1000+ Cr at the box office and the second part is expected to begin soon. The producer also confirmed that Kalki 2 will be released in 2026.
