Rashmika Mandanna is slowly making her presence felt in Bollywood like many other South heroines. Rashmika however scored a blockbuster with Animal while her two other straight films Goodbye and Mission Majnu could not help her much in Bollywood.
The Srivalli of Pushpa is now coming yet again with a straight Bollywood movie Chhaava, a story of a Maratha King Chatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Rashmika is playing Maharani Yesubai. In the trailer launch event today, Rashmika while revealing how satisfied she was by playing the role in Chhaava, spoke about ‘retirement’.
At the trailer launch, Rashmika expressed her gratitude for the opportunity and funnily remarked about retining agyer playing such a significant role. ‘It is an honor. From a girl coming from the South to playMaharani Yesubai is the most previleged and special thing I could ask for in this lifetime. I tell Laxman sir that after this, I am happy to retire,’ Rashmika said.
‘I am not someone who cries but this trailer choked me up. Vicky Kaushal looks like God, he’s Chhaava.’ said Rashmika at the trailer launch event. Chhaava is releasing on February 14th.
