Venkatesh and Anil Ravipudi have delivered another blockbuster with Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, which continues to perform strongly in its second week. The team addressed the media, sharing their excitement about the film’s overwhelming reception.

Anil Ravipudi praised Venkatesh for his remarkable energy and humility. “Despite his success, he keeps moving forward with humility, and that’s something we can all learn from,” said Ravipudi, reflecting on the actor’s grounded approach. He also expressed gratitude for the film’s success, noting that it has clearly resonated with family audiences.

The director further praised music composer Bheems for his contribution to the film’s success. “Bheems has a unique ability to compose music that fits perfectly with the story. His journey started with Pongal, and I believe he has a bright future ahead.”

Sankranthiki Vasthunnam has grossed 230 crore, and Ravipudi emphasized that the film’s collections are genuine. “We didn’t want to fake or exaggerate the numbers. The movie is still going strong, and it’s surprising everyone with its consistent performance, even on weekdays.”

Venkatesh shared his experience working with Anil Ravipudi, reflecting on the initial stages of the project. “When Anil came to me with the story, I immediately knew it was a good, safe film—one that would do well during Sankranthi. But when the audience takes it to the next level with so much love and appreciation, it feels even better. Delivering a blockbuster on a moderate budget gives a real kick. It’s an incredible feeling,” Venkatesh said.

The actor also spoke about the film’s journey, saying, “From the beginning, I could feel the energy. As we worked on it, we improvised and adapted, and I could sense something special was happening. The entire process was wonderful, and the energy just kept building. Even the promotions played a big role in keeping that momentum going.”

They also confirmed that they have plans to make a sequel for Sankranthiki Vasthunnam.
