When the talk is going around some popular titles like Nani’s V, Ram’s Red and Anushka’s Nishabdam, small budgeted film Amrutharamam has surprised everyone by becoming the first ever Telugu movie to get directly released on an OTT platform. Last week, the film got premiered on Zee5 and received bad reviews.
Cut to now, while biggest players like Prime Video, Netflix and Hotstar are still holding talks with some big producers, another small budgeted film is said to have struck the deal. Reports are coming that Hotstar has acquired young hero Naveen Chandra’s upcoming movie “Bhanumati Ramakrishna” which has Sarabham (2014 film) movie fame Salony Luthra featuring as the female lead.
Directed by newcomer Srikanth Nagothi, the film is in the production pipeline from the last two years, and we hear that the makers have recently showcased the first copy to Hotstar, after which a deal is inked. Very soon the stars of the film will start promoting the movie on various social media handles, before the film hits Hotsar.
