Inspired By Sukshmadarshini, Husband Cooks Wife!

In recent times, the influence of movies and web series on society has been a topic of debate. While some might argue that the impact is positive, there’s no denying that negative effects are also visible, with numerous incidents as proof. One such shocking event that came to light recently is the brutal murder committed by a man named Gurumurthi from Meerpet, who brutally killed his wife and then attempted to cover up the crime.

The horrifying details of the crime left human rights organizations stunned. The brutality of the murder was so disturbing that it made headlines, and it sent chills down the spine of anyone who read about it. Thankfully, the police caught Gurumurthi in a short time, but what he revealed about his actions was even more disturbing.

According to reliable sources, Gurumurthi admitted that he was inspired by the Malayalam movie Sukshmadarshini, where a girl is murdered in a chilling episode, and the body was submerged in chemicals. The movie, which was recently dubbed in Telugu and made available on OTT platforms, had an intense murder scene that left a strong impact on the viewers. It seems that Gurumurthi was inspired by that particular scene. He reportedly chopped of his wife’s body and used pressure cooker to cook the parts. Although the official confirmation of this claim is still awaited, social media is already buzzing with discussions about it.

This is not the first time that movies and web series have been linked to violent crimes. Over the past few years, some web series have depicted murders in such graphic and brutal ways that they have left viewers horrified, making it difficult for some to sleep at night. Directors and writers, in the name of realism, have been pushing boundaries, showing extreme levels of violence, and sometimes even glorifying it.
