Vishwak Sen Delays, Producer Cancels?

Vishwak Sen is one of the actors who is making sure to have at least two releases every year. Last year, he came up with three films, Gaami, Gangs of Godavari and Mechanic Rocky. Now, he is gearing up for the release of his next film Laila, which will hit the screens on February 14.

Vishwak also had another project in the lineup, titled Bandook. This project was announced last year with debutant Sridhar Ganta as the director and Sudhakar Cherukuri as the producer. Meanwhile, we now hear that the project has been cancelled, after one year long pre production work.

According to the grapevine in the industry, Vishwak Sen delayed the shoot repeatedly, which eventually made producer Sudhakar cancel the film. It has to be seen if Sudhakar makes this project with any other actor in the near future.

As Bandook is cancelled, Vishwak Sen currently has Anudeep’s film in his lineup apart from Laila. On the other side, Sudhakar Cherukuri currently has KJQ, Nani-Srikanth Odela’s The Paradise, Prashanth Varma-Nandamuri Mokshanga’s untitled film and Chiranjeevi-Srikanth Odela’s untitled film in the lineup.
