Heroine Aishwarya Rajesh scored a blockbuster with her recent outing Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, where she starred alongside Victory Venkatesh. She had been busy promoting the film in Hyderabad for over a month. After attending promotional events and success parties in Hyderabad, Aishwarya has now hosted a celebration in Chennai. While some may wonder about her hosting a party in Chennai after scoring a hit in Telugu, there’s a reason behind it.

Though Aishwarya is a Telugu girl, she was born and brought up in Chennai. All her family and friends live there, which is why she decided to arrange a special party to celebrate the success of Sankranthiki Vasthunnam with them. Having a very limited circle of friends in Hyderabad, she couldn’t wait to celebrate the biggest success of her career with her close ones in Chennai.

Directed by Anil Ravipudi, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam became a sensational hit at the box office, collecting more than Rs. 270 crores to date. Aishwarya Rajesh also received a lot of accolades for her performance in the film.

Aishwarya made her Telugu debut with Kousalya Krishnamurthy. She later appeared in World Famous Lover and Tuck Jagadish. However, it was Sankranthiki Vasthunnam that brought her widespread fame and became her first blockbuster in Telugu.
