Tesla, premium electric vehicle manufacturer, has gone one step closer to building unsupervised full-self driving vehicle after it rolled out cars that could themselves drive to the designated loading dock lanes from their birthplace at the factory, without any human intervention.
Tesla co-founder and billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk announced that Tesla has achieved a key milestone in its FSD endeavor after he remarked “Unsupervised full self-driving begins” to a video shared by Tesla AI on X. In the post, Tesla AI shared a video which showed the company’s electric vehicles autonomously driving out from the factory, and said they were step closer to achieving large-scale unsupervised FSD.
In reaction to the posts, several netizens expressed their excitement and anticipation to see the vehicles on the roads, with comments like ‘upgrade’, ‘future is here’, ‘amazing;, etc. A few others speculated that the milestone would help Tesla’s stocks get bullish in the stock market.
Last year, Musk unveiled Tesla’s Robotaxi, Cybercab, and announced plans to bring autonomous driving to its Model 3 and Model Y cars by 2025. The company plans to launch its FSD feature in both China and Europe in the first quarter of 2025.
