Jani Master vs Jhansi: All You Need To Know

Choreographer Jani Master has been in the news recently for the sexual allegations against him. He is now out on bail. Meanwhile, he has now made it to the headlines once again due to a post shared by actress Jhansi regarding a case that was filed against him by the Film Chamber of Commerce.

Getting into details, Jahnasi recently shared a post saying that the Film Chamber of Commerce won a case filed against Jani regarding sexual harassment at workplace charges. She called it a big move which proves the significance of women’s safety in the film workspace.

In her post, Jhansi wrote, “Film Chamber of Commerce wins the case against Choreographer Jani Basha, who had challenged the chambers’ orders in the district court on the grounds of proven sexual harassment at workplace charges. The Court has dismissed his interim application. This is a significant judgment, proving that women’s safety at the workplace is a priority and institutions enforcing POSH guidelines have to be supported. We appreciate THE TELUGU FILM CHAMBER OF COMMERCE in ensuring that FEDERATION took a strict stand and fought it out legally. “

However, Jani countered her post by saying that Jhansi is misleading people by falsely portraying the linking case filed by him regarding the dancers’ union elections as the verdict given for sexual allegations.

He wrote, “I feel pity by seeing people spreading false news even on court orders for their own benefit. You (Jhansi) are sharing posts as per your convenience by linking the judgement of the case I filed regarding the Union President elections, which were held without my knowledge, to an entirely different case. You may think that people will believe whatever you say but once the judgement of the actual case comes out, everyone will understand your true colours and why you are spreading this false information. Justice will prevail and everyone will know the truth very soon.”

To give you clarity on this fight, it is already known that a female choreographer filed a sexual harassment case against Jani Master and he was eventually sent to jail. Later, he came out on bail. On the other side, the lady choreographer filed a complaint against Jani in the Film Chamber of Commerce as well. As per the Chamber’s order, Jani was removed from the post of Dancers Union and later, elections were held for the same post. Jani filed a petition regarding this election in the court and the verdict was also regarding the same, where the court dismissed his petition.
