‘Repeat Formula’ Is Balakrishna’s Success Mantra?

Nandamuri Balakrishna is one of the senior heroes in the Telugu film industry who is regarded as the Man of the Masses. Balakrishna’s films always aim to entertain rural audiences and those in B and C centers. Even in general, the audiences want to witness more of action sequences from him. In the last few years, his success rate has gone up and major credit will go to his daughter’s creative collaboration. However, there is another success mantra that seems to be working for him.

Balakrishna usually trusts his directors a lot. He gives them the utmost freedom without any questions asked. It has opened the gates for Balakrishna to taste success, especially in the recent past. Until Akhanda happened, everyone was in the opinion that Boyapati Srinu is the only director who can deliver proper hits with Balakrishna but Veera Simha Reddy changed the dynamics.

Balakrishna teamed up with Gopichand Malineni for the first time with Veera Simha Reddy and it became a blockbuster. Later, Balayya worked with Anil Ravipudi for Bhagvanth Kesari which is a hit. Now, Daaku Maharaaj, under the direction of KS Ravindra also ended as a successful movie.

Now, in the new lineup, Balakrishna is reuniting with Boyapati Srinu for Akhanda 2. Additionally, during the Padma Bhushan celebrations in Hyderabad, Balakrishna confirmed a new film with director Gopichand Malineni. It will mark their second time collaboration.

Additionally, team Daaku Maharaaj plans a prequel to the film. Although it is not yet decided on who would be cast for the lead role, the sources say that Balakrishna is ready to reunite with KS Ravindra as he showcased the actor in the stylish manner. Even Anil Ravipudi was also assured an opportunity from Balakrishna provided he comes up with yet another engaging script, which might happen after Ravipudi wraps up his film with Chiranjeevi.

Balakrishna is ‘repeating’ the directors who delivered him success, which not only always lands him in success but also giving them due credit for success, which helps all of them to put extra effort into crafting blockbusters.
