Ananya Pandey Was ‘Uncomfortable’ Doing Liger

Liger was one of the most hyped films that fell flat on the face and lost without a trace. The film was trolled heavily and Ananya Pandey was one of the main targets of trolls back then. In the latest interview, after years from the movie’s release actor Chunkey Pandey reveals that his daughter Ananya Pandey was uncomfortable doing the film Liger.

Liger was Ananya’s first big commercial release but the movie emerged as a nightmare for her. Chunkey Pandey says that Ananya was confused and uncomfortable doing the film Liger because of her ‘Baby-face’.

He mentions, ‘When she asked me if she should do this film, she was thinking that she was too young for it. ‘Papa, I am too young to do this’.

Chunkey Pandey admits asking her to to do the film because it is a commercial big film. But now he feels she was right. The veteran actor also says he never put any pressure on her from that day on. ‘Maybe I was wrong. I am old school. I don’t know anything else’, says Chunkey.

Liger was one of the biggest disasters in the careers of Puri Jagannath, and Vijay Deverakonda as well.
