Revanth Reddy walks in his mentor CBN’s steps

World Economic Forum president Borge Brende and managing director Mirek Dusek thanked Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for the government’s support and collaboration with the Forum during the recent summit in Davos. The Telangana Rising delegation, led by the CM, secured more than Rs 1.7 lakh crore investment at the WEF Summit.

The WEF authorities wrote a letter to the Chief Minister stating that the Telangana state government has pioneered advancements in health technology and life sciences, since its launch last year. They appreciated the Telangana team for its active participation in the Forum’s annual meeting held under the theme ‘Collaboration for the Intelligent Age’.

As many as 3,000 leaders from business, government and civil society came together to foster global cooperation and explore new strategies for relaunching growth, the WEF officials said.

They hailed the Telangana government’s vision to transform Telangana into a trillion-dollar economy in the next 10 years. Revanth Reddy considers Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu as his guru in politics and under his training, the Telangana CM has picked up the right strategy to lure investors to his state. This year, Naidu and his team could not attract huge investments but his disciple and CM of neighbouring Telangana exhibited his skill in gaining the attention of global business giants.

Moreover, Revanth Reddy’s plans to develop India’s first net-zero carbon city near Hyderabad as a sustainable city and a hub for AI and future technology was also highlighted in the letter. Naidu created Cyberabad with IT at its core while his counterpart in Telangana has plans to build Future City focusing on AI as the main theme.
