Dhanush’s third directorial, Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK) in Tamil and Jaabilamma Neeku Antha Kopama in Telugu trailer was unveiled today. The film stars Pavish, Priya P Varrier, Anikha Surendran, Mathew Thomas, Siddharth Shankar and Rabiya Khatoon in lead roles.
The trailer begins with Dhanush saying it is a usual love story. It shows Prabhu, played by Pavish, falling in love with Priya’s character, while Nila, played by Anikha, gets prepared for her wedding to Siddharth Shankar. What started as a fun and simple love story turns into a chaotic one with Pavish revealing that Nila is his ex-girlfriend.
The twist in the tale is that Prabhu and Nila have not really moved on from their relationship, which causes confused feelings. What happens when a boy attends his ex-girlfriend’s marriage? With a lot of comedic, chaotic, and confusing moments, the trailer promises an entertaining modern-age rom-com. The cuts, visuals, and score of GV Prakash are terrific.
In the end, Dhanush says, “Jolly ga Randi. Jollyga Vellandi.” Priyanka Mohan and Dhanush will appear in cameo roles. It also stars Sarath Kumar in a key role. The upcoming coming-of-age romantic drama is produced by Dhanush jointly with Kasthuri Raja and Vijayalakshmi Kasthuri, under Wunderbar Films and RK Productions.
The film releasing in Telugu on February 21st by Asian Suresh Entertainment LLP.
