Low Buzz & Poor Advance Sales For Chhaava

Bollywood has been struggling to strike gold at the box office with its high-budget period flicks for the last few years. Still, the makers didn’t lose hope and are producing various high-budget films. One of them is Vicky Kaushal’s upcoming movie, Chhaava. Despite advance booking being opened, Chhaava failed to create any impact on online ticketing websites.

So far, advance sales have been quite disappointing, and many people don’t even know that the film will be released this Friday (February 14). Poor promotions, a lack of engaging marketing, and a disinteresting trailer and teaser further damage Chhaava.

Now, only word of mouth can save the movie. It remains to be seen if Chhaava can become another Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat or another Samrat Prithviraj and Panipat.

Chhavaa is based on the story of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s son, Chhatrapati Shambaji Maharaj. Vicky Kaushal plays Shambaji in the movie, which was directed by Lakshman Utekar and produced by Maddock Films. AR Rahman composed the music for the movie. Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna play the other lead roles in the movie.
