Not Bollywood but the South Indian film industry is the face of Indian cinema right now. We see films from Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam becoming pan-India hits and actors from the South getting nationwide stardom. Not only actors but even South Indian actresses have gained immense popularity over the last few years and currently, they are among the highest-paid heroines in the country. Here is a look at the highest-paid South Indian actresses.

Sai Pallavi:

This talented actress enjoys an immense craze in the Telugu and Tamil film industries. Known for her impeccable acting and dancing skills, Sai Pallavi reportedly charged a whopping Rs. 5 crores for her recent film Thandel. According to the sources, she is charging Rs. 18-20 crores for her upcoming Hindi film Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari.

Rashmika Mandanna:

Fondly called the Nation’s Crush, Rashmika is on a roll by scoring consecutive blockbusters with Animal, Pushpa 2 and Chhaava. Reportedly, she charged Rs. 10 crore for pan-India film Pushpa 2 and Rs. 4 crore for Chhaava. It is heard that she was paid around Rs. 4 crore for her upcoming film Sikander.

Nayanthara:

Lady Superstar Nayanthara enjoys immense stardom in Tamil Nadu. According to the sources, she was paid Rs. 10 crore for her Bollywood debut Jawan. It was heard that she charged Rs. 25 crore for selling the rights of her wedding documentary to Netflix.

Trisha:

One of the popular actresses in the South, Trisha reportedly charges Rs. 10-12 crore for one film. She is reportedly getting paid around Rs. 12 crore for her upcoming film, Vishwambhara.

Anushka:

Though she is not doing films actively, Anushka charges a whopping remuneration whenever she works on one. Reportedly, she charges around Rs. 6 crore per film. It was heard that she was paid Rs. 5 crore each for Baahubali 2 and her upcoming Malayalam film Kathanar.
