Lenin, Another Action From Akhil?

After Agent, there has been no official announcement regarding Akhil Akkineni’s next film. However, strong rumors suggest that he is gearing up for a project titled Lenin, directed by Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha fame Kiran Muralikishore Abbur. The reports indicate that Sreeleela has been cast as the female lead. Surprisingly, Akhil wants to up his game as an action hero, despite his last film Agent meeting a failure.

Akhil wanted to gain the action hero image and attempted Agent, in the direction of Surender Reddy. The film did not work at the box office. But, Akhil wants to balance both the elements of romance and action in this upcoming film.

The film is said to be a rural action love story set against the backdrop of Chittoor. Interestingly, the shooting has already commenced, and buzz from Film Nagar suggests that a new schedule will begin on the 14th of this month in Hyderabad. This schedule is expected to run for about 20 days.

Lenin is being produced by Annapurna Studios and is likely to hit screens later this year. The complete details are expected to be out soon.
