Sikandar Trailer: Murugadoss Uses Same Old Format

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan joined hands with director AR Murugadoss for the prestigious film Sikandar. The film is creating a special interest already because it was criticized regarding the plot. However, the makers launched the theatrical trailer yesterday, and one can easily say that Murugadoss used the same outdated formula for this commercial potboiler.

The outline of the trailer is that Salman Khan is someone who is aggressive and gets into trouble while trying to help others. He works on a mission to get justice for the wrongdoings committed by a politician. It has been a tested formula for South cinema from which, the industry is moving away due to the routineness.

Even the director also opened up at the trailer launch event that he cannot be genuine to the script while working with big stars. He admitted of compromising to add commercial elements to satisfy the fans and pull the openings.

Rashmika and Kajal Aggarwal are the leading ladies while Satyaraj plays the villain in the movie. There are no positive vibes around the film and we hope to see how the audiences receive it. The movie releases on 30th March.
