SSMB29: Untimely Speculation Gaining Traction!

SSMB 29 is undoubtedly one of the most ambitious projects across pan-India now. The production team is currently awaiting permits and visas to finalize the travel dates for a long shooting schedule in Africa. Prithviraj Sukumaran and Priyanka Chopra have been officially announced as part of the cast, while no other update about the film is officially floating. However, a speculation regarding the film’s span (one part or sequel) is gaining attention.

On one side, the fans and the industry people are expecting that the team would hold a press meet soon. On the other side, the speculation if the film would be made a sequel is going viral on social media. According to industry insiders, director SS Rajamouli does not intend to split this pan-world movie into two parts.

Despite the film being on an epic scale, he plans to keep it as a single, slightly longer movie, possibly around three and a half hours, similar to movies like Animal and Pushpa 2. Mahesh Babu has reportedly agreed to this idea, expressing his preference to complete the project in one go rather than stretch it into a sequel.

However, since there has been no official confirmation from the makers, fans will have to wait a bit longer for clarity. To satisfy the cravings of the fans, the makers are reportedly planning to release a two-minute video, which can be treated as an official announcement regarding the film.

However, the team is managing to keep the buzz alive despite not releasing any updates so far. But, the speculation about the sequel hold no interest at the moment, even before any glimpse from the film comes out.
