Ajith Kumar is one of the biggest stars in Tamil cinema who enjoys immense stardom in Tamil Nadu. However, he failed to recreate the same stardom in Telugu states, unlike his contemporaries like Vijay and Karthi. None of Ajith’s films worked well in Telugu in the recent past.
His last film, Pattudhala, which was released in February this year, also ended up as a disaster in Telugu. To score that much-needed success, Ajith is coming up with his new film, Good Bad Ugly. The Telugu trailer of this movie was released a while ago, and going by it, Ajith may score good success in Telugu this time.
Good Bad Ugly’s Trailer is an out-and-out commercial action comedy ride from the beginning to the end. It looks like director Adhik Ravichandran’s love letter to Ajith. When a die-hard fan works with his favourite hero, he will mostly score a blockbuster and Good Bad Ugly may fall into that list.
The trailer is filled with many references to Ajith’s old films. Ajith also sported multiple looks in the film, which also gives a nostalgic feel to fans. The film features Trisha as the female lead. Arjun Das, Simran, Usha Uthup, Priya Prakash, Roadies Raghu and others play important roles in it.
GV Prakash composed the music for the film. Mythri Movie Makers produced the project. Considering there are no notable big releases in Telugu this week apart from Jack and having Mythri Movie Makers’ distribution network, Good Bad Ugly may do well at the box office if it manages to gain good word of mouth.
