New Announcement From Oscars Thrills Team RRR

The Oscars Academy has confirmed the inclusion of Stunt Design in their kitty from 2028. So far, many requests have been made to add the craft as well. However, the request has been ignored for many years. Finally, Academy has come up with a solid announcement that they will include an award for Achievement in Stunt Design. Interestingly, the announcement featured a still from RRR, which thrilled the team.

“Stunts have always been part of the magic of movies. Now, they’re part of the Oscars. The Academy has created a new annual award for Achievement in Stunt Design—beginning with the 100th Oscars in 2028, honoring films released in 2027.” the announcement from the Academy read.

During the announcement, they shared a photograph, carrying the still of Ram Charan from the film RRR, where he goes head on with a tiger during the interval action sequence. Both the director and producer of the film are elated to see this.

Rajamouli was ecstatic with the new announcement and he thanked the team of Oscars and was also thrilled to see the action visual of RRR shining in the announcement.

Here, Rajamouli has started aiming for new targets. The first among them is to release SSMB 29 in another two years. If the news is true that it’s going to be released on March 27, 2027 — the same date RRR was released — then it’s a festival for Mahesh Babu fans. Since a lot of emphasis is being placed on action episodes, Jakkanna will be even more cautious. As for the budget, there will be no compromises anyway.

On the other hand, producer DVV Danayya is also happy to have his film featured during the announcement.
