Rashmika Hopes For a Success With ‘Horror’

Rashmika Mandanna scored a flop with Sikandar in Hindi, ending a successful streak. The actress was on cloud nine until Chhaava happened. But, the latest release, Sikandar, could not hold the audiences. Rashmika was also criticized for playing a role that had no significance in the project. However, she pinned all her hopes on a horror film now.

Titled Thama, the upcoming horror film has a lot of interesting elements, and Rashmika seems to be playing a prominent character. Rashmika is currently shooting for the film and the night shoots are currently in progress.

Surprisingly, this is the first film for Rashmika in the horror genre. She has not done a project on these lines, even in the South. So, she hopes to bounce back to success with the project. To be seen in a horror film is often challenging the success ration will also be less. But, we have to see how things fare for the actress.

The makers have confirmed that Thama will hit theatres this Diwali. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the film also stars Ayushmann Khurrana in a key role. Maddock Films and Jio Studios are jointly producing the project.
