Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi Trailer: Potential Summer Winner

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s upcoming flick Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi is gearing up for release on the 18th of this month, and the team is leaving no stone unturned to generate hype. In fact, all the promos have built excitement for the movie. Today, the film’s theatrical trailer was dropped.

The trailer opens with a senior police officer instructing his subordinate to prepare a list of the top ten criminals in the city. But the junior officer replies with a startling truth- there’s only one name worth mentioning: Arjun, S/O of Vyjayanthi, a revered IPS officer and an inspiration to many. Why did Arjun, the son of such a respected figure, stray from the path of duty? Why did he fail to live up to his mother’s dream? What turned him into a criminal? Why and how they unite to fight a gangster in the city, forms the heart of this gripping tale.

Kalyan Ram delivers career best performance, given essaying a character with such emotional depth is no easy feat, and he rises to the challenge with conviction. There are moments where his powerful dialogue delivery and intense performance give goosebumps. Vijayashanthi is equally impressive as both a commanding IPS officer and a loving yet determined mother. Sohail Khan brings menace to the screen as the main antagonist, while Saiee Manjrekar plays the female lead with charm and presence. Srikanth and Prithviraj also shine in pivotal roles.

Director Pradeep Chilukuri showcases a clear vision, blending high-octane action with emotionally resonant storytelling. The trailer hints at a well-balanced mix of commercial appeal and character-driven drama. Ram Prasad’s cinematography elevates the film’s visual experience, and Ajaneesh Loknath’s powerful background score perfectly complements the shifting moods of the story. The dialogues are also very powerful. It’s indeed a perfect trailer cut in recent times.
