Gopichand Malineni delivered a big blockbuster to Balakrishna in the form of Veera Simha Reddy. Now, the director confirmed that he is reuniting with Balakrishna for another film, which will hit the floors soon. Interestingly, Gopichand also announced a sequel to his latest blockbuster Jaat, which also attracted controversy.
Jaat has landed in controversy regarding a scene featuring Randeep Hooda. In one scene of the movie, Randeep stands inside a church, beneath a crucifix above the sacred pulpit, while members of the congregation pray.
The scene depicts hooliganism and intimidation inside the church. It hurt the sentiments of the Christian community. Additionally, some of the Tamilians also found the film objectionable regarding the portrayal of LTTE scenes.
Gopichand clarified that everyone has an opinion, and he is unaffected by the criticism. He then confirmed that his immediate film would be with Balakrishna, and it will begin in June. Although the rumor is doing rounds for quite sometime, there is no confirmation officially. But, Gopichand has finally issued a conclusion for these speculations.
Only after finishing Balakrishna’s film, Gopichand will work on Jaat 2.
