After the shock of Double iSmart, director Puri Jagannadh has wasted no time and speedup the pre-production of his next project. Tentatively titled Beggar, this action thriller has already locked in Tabu and Radhika Apte for crucial roles. The latest buzz is that Nivetha Thomas has been approached for the important role of the hero’s wife. While she hasn’t officially said yes yet, sources say her response has been positive.

Nivetha, who recently returned to the limelight with 35 Chinna katha Kadhu, is considered a strong choice for performance-driven roles, even though she is rarely seen in typical heroine parts these days. If she agrees, this could turn out to be a significant opportunity for her, especially since Puri is putting his full energy into making this project a success.

Reports suggest that Puri is planning to complete the shoot within just two months, reflecting his old working speed. Vijay Sethupathi, the leading man, has also adjusted his packed schedule to accommodate this quick timeline, which shows his strong belief in the script.
