Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom is one of the most anticipated films to hit theaters from Tollywood this summer. The film is being directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, who earlier helmed the National Award-winning sports drama, Jersey.
The promo for Kingdom’s first single is set to release on April 30th. Yesterday, the makers unveiled a special poster to announce the same. The poster features Vijay Deverakonda and a young girl, both sitting on a bench on a railway platform and facing a train that’s zooming past.
Soon after the poster was released, netizens started inquiring who the actress sitting beside Vijay was. X users started tagging AI assistants such as Perplexity and Grok, asking, “Who is the heroine in this movie?” and “Heroine evaru?” Well, Kingdom makers yesterday revealed that the happening young beauty Bhagyashri Borse will play the female lead. Even Bhagyashri took to Instagram and flooded her Insta stories with a series of posts with the Kingdom song poster.
Following Ravi Teja’s Mr. Bachchan’s theatrical release, Tollywood took notice of Bhagyashri’s mesmerising looks and acting chops. The svelte beauty was flooded with crazy offers in Tollywood despite Mr. Bachchan’s failure at the box office. Kingdom’s box office result will determine the actress’ future in Tollywood.
