Pawan Kalyan paid tribute to the people who died in the attack. He held a meeting at the Janasena party office, where party leaders and workers stood silent for two minutes to show respect.
Speaking at the event, Pawan said, “Kashmir will always belong to India.” He reminded everyone that India has defeated Pakistan in wars three times and asked why some people still support Pakistan while living in India.
“If you love Pakistan so much, go live there,” he warned. He said Pakistan supports terrorism and is responsible for the deaths and suffering of many Kashmiri Pandits who had to leave their homes.
Talking about the attack, he said terrorists chased and killed tourists after asking them about their religion. “We should not show any sympathy to such people,” he said.
Pawan also questioned if India is being too patient. “India is calm, but is this calmness becoming a weakness?” he asked.
He strongly criticised people in India who speak in favor of Pakistan while enjoying all the benefits of living here. “This is double standards. This should stop,” he said about pseudo-secularists.
Pawan praised how the entire country came together after the attack. Even people who usually criticize Prime Minister Modi are now supporting him, he said. “India is united now more than ever,” he added.
Finally, Pawan announced ₹50 lakhs in help from Janasena to the family of Madhusudan Rao, a man from Nellore who died in the attack.
