Sandhya Theatre Stampede: Sritej Discharged!

The Sandhya theatre stampede incident that took place in December last year during Pushpa 2 release is one of the most tragedic incidents in Hyderabad. It was so unfortunate and a woman lost her life while her son Sritej received treatment for over four months. At one point, Sritej’s condition has become extremely critical but the doctors continued to operate on him. Now, he is discharged.

Sritej was undergoing a treatment at KIMS Hospital in Hyderabad until recently. Not just Allu Arjun and team Pushpa 2 but the government of Telangana put special focus on this case. The government also ensured that Sritej received the best available treatment for his early recovery.

Slowly but steadily, Sritej has recovered a bit and he has now been to rehabilitation center. The sources confirmed that Sritej is in consciousness and his condition is currently stable. It is expected that Sritej would further get better during the rehab.

During Pushpa 2 release, a special premiere was held the day before its release. Allu Arjun along with the film unit attended the film’s premiere. It resulted in a stampede and a lathi charge as well. During the stampede, the unfortunate incident has taken place.
