The celebrated actress turned producer Samantha, is ready with the first film under her production banner Tra La la Moving Pictures. This debut project titled Subham is directed by Praveen Kandregula. The film releasing worldwide on May 9th in theatres.
Ahead of the release of Subham, producer Samantha shared her thoughts with the media, expressing both nervousness and pride about her debut as a producer. She noted that while many women are often drawn to TV serials, Subham stands apart as a unique social satire, blending various elements beyond just horror or comedy.
Reflecting on the pressures of being on the other side of filmmaking, Samantha admitted that although she’s familiar with the anxiety actors feel on release day, experiencing it as a producer has brought a new level of stress and sleepless nights. She now truly understands the challenges producers endure behind the scenes.
Samantha praised the tireless efforts of the post-production, mixing, and editing teams, stating that their hard work has helped. She added, “Subham got a perfect release date May 9th falls right in the middle of the summer holidays. It’s a film that families can enjoy together. We were fortunate to get this iconic date.”
Adding personal connection, she said “Many people come to the film industry with dreams. For this film, actors Shreya, Shravani, and Shalini worked incredibly hard. Watching them reminded me of my own early days.”
The film stars Harshith Malgireddy, Shriya Kontham, Charan Peri, Shalini Kondepudi, Gavireddy Srinivas, Shravani and vamshidhar Goud. These talented actors are ready to surprise everyone with a fun entertainer. The makers of Subham impressed audiences with a blockbuster trailer and engaging promotions.
