Riding high on the success of Love Today and Dragon, actor-director Pradeep Ranganathan is stepping into a new cinematic territory with Dude, a Pan India film produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Helmed by debutant filmmaker Keerthiswaran, this upcoming venture is in the production phase.
The film’s title and striking first-look poster were unveiled today. Titled Dude, the poster presents Pradeep in a stark, wounded look, gripping a mangalsutra with fierce intensity- a symbolic image that hints at a story layered with personal loss, vengeance, or perhaps redemption.
Starring opposite Pradeep is Mamitha Baiju, who captured hearts in Premalu and now takes on a role that could further cement her rising stardom. Adding weight to the cast is seasoned actor Sarath Kumar, who plays a pivotal part in the narrative.
Behind the lens, Niketh Bommi takes charge of cinematography, while composer Sai Abhyankkar is crafting the film’s music.
The makers have announced a theatrical release of the movie during Diwali 2025 in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.
