Is Ustaad not on Pawan’s priority List?

Andhra Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister, Pawan Kalyan is back in the shoes of ‘Power Star’ as he films for his pending projects. After completing the shoot of Hari Hara Veera Mallu, he is getting busy with OG now. Amidst uncertainty, the reports say that Pawan informed the producers of Mythri Movie Makers and director Harish Shankar that he will soon be available to revive their next outing, Ustaad Bhagat Singh.

Ustad Bhagat Singh has seen the least movement among Pawan’s pending projects, leading many to assume it might be shelved indefinitely. But now, reports suggest that Pawan has also given fresh instructions on how to gear up for the shoot.

Despite earlier speculation that Ustad Bhagat Singh was not on Pawan’s priority list, recent discussions with Mythri Movie Makers indicate otherwise. The actor has reportedly made it clear that OG will be completed first and is set for a release in the latter half of 2025. Post this, Pawan will jump onto Ustad Bhagat Singh, which is potentially his last film for the moment. But, there is a huge responsibility on Harish’s shoulders now.

Harish Shankar will have to manage the limited availability of Pawan Kalyan cleverly. In fact, HHVM and OG require Pawan Kalyan’s limited dates, but UBS requires Pawan in bulk. Moreover, since it is an actioner and a properly packed commercial film, Pawan will be present on the screen more often. Given Pawan’s busy schedule, Harish may have to rely on a body double and plan the shoot in such a way that he make the most of Pawan Kalyan in his minimal availability.

On the other hand, Harish Shankar had even started work on another film. But, he has to shift his focus back to Ustad Bhagat Singh now.
