Kajal Aggarwal is one of the sensational heroines in Indian cinema who was equally popular in Bollywood. However, the last decade witnessed her minimal presence in Hindi. Very recently, she was seen in a film titled Sikander, alongside Salman Khan, but it did not bring her any laurels. To revive her base in Bollywood again, Kajal is now on the block to pick up an exciting film.
If the reports are believed to be true, Kajal Aggarwal is all set to be doing the character Mandodari in the upcoming Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash are playing Lord Sriram, Sita, and Ravana, respectively. Mandodari is an important character in Ramayana and Kajal will be a perfect choice.
To be seen alongside Yash as his wife would surely bring a lot of attention to Kajal in Bollywood, after a long time. In the current version of Ramayana, the team plans to give enough scope to explore the character dynamics of Mandodari, making it easy for Kajal to woo her fan base once again in North. Also since Kajal is fluent in multiple languages, because of her wide experience, she will gel well with the market requirements as well.
Apart from Sikander, Kajal was last seen in Mumbai Saga in 2021 which did not do well. In 2016, she was a part of two Hindi films Do Lafzon Ki Kahani and Final cut of Director. Kajal who is slow but steady after her marriage now wants to push herself in Bollywood and Ramayana can be a perfect opportunity.
