Sandeep Reddy Vanga Drops Deepika From Prabhas’ Spirit

Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga who has become nation-wide sensation with consecutive cult hits is all set to direct Rebel Star Prabhas in an action thriller Spirit that will have a Pan world release.

As we all know, Deepika Padukone was supposed to play the lead actress in the movie. However, she has reportedly been dropped from the film. According to sources close to the movie, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga was left fuming over a series of demands that he felt crossed the line.

Deepika Padukone reportedly insisted on 8-hour shifts that barely allowed for 6 hours of filming. Inside sources says that, besides demanding a huge pay and also a share in profits, she allegedly refused to speak her Telugu lines.

Deepika’s approach allegedly caused frustration to the director who has now decided to show her the exit door and is already scouting for a replacement.
