Shashtipoorthi On May 30: What’s In Store?

Shashtipoorthi, a family drama filled with emotion, tradition, and strong family values, is set to hit theatres on May 30. The film is produced under the Maa Aaie Productions banner by Rupeysh who plays the male lead in the film.

The movie is directed by Pavan Prabha and features a pretty talented cast of Rajendra Prasad, Archana, and Akanksha Singh, along with the talented Rupeysh.

Rupeysh, who is both the producer and actor in the film, originally intended to cast a newcomer for the role of the son. However, he eventually decided to take up the role himself.

He said that he connected deeply with the story on a personal level. For him, acting in the film turned out to be more fulfilling than producing it.

The story was written specifically with Rajendra Prasad in mind. The film showcases the bond between generations while also weaving in a simple and beautiful love story.

According to Rupeysh, the emotional core of Shashtipoorthi lies in its music. The legendary Ilaiyaraaja has composed the soundtrack, offering multiple versions for each song to capture the right emotion.

Rupeysh thanked Chaitanya Prasad for helping make the collaboration with Ilaiyaraaja happen. He believes the music and background score will leave a lasting emotional impact on the audience.
