What Motivated Rajendra Prasad For Shashtipoorthi?

Veteran and talented actor Rajendra Prasad is ready to entertain again with his new family drama Shashtipoorthi, which will release in theatres on May 30.

The movie is directed by Pavan Prabha and produced by Rupeysh under the MAA AAIE Productions banner. It also stars Archana, Rupeysh, and Akanksha Singh in important roles.

Speaking at a recent event, Rajendra Prasad said he is very happy with the film. He called it a special movie that shows Telugu culture and emotions in a strong and honest way.The story is about celebrating a 60th wedding anniversary. “It feels very real and close to home,” he said. “After watching this film, people will want to go and hug their parents.”

He looked back on his 48-year career and thanked everyone who still gives him good roles that match his age and experience.

He also shared how actor NT Rama Rao once asked him what made him different, which helped him discover his own style as a comedy hero.

Rajendra Prasad said good comedy writing is not seen much these days and needs to come back.

He ended by praising Ilaiyaraaja and Keeravani for giving beautiful music that adds deep feeling to the film.
