Talk Of The Town : Who’s The God In Mirai?

The teaser of mythological sci-fiction ‘Mirai’ has swept everyone by surprise with its over-the-top visual effects, intense action scenes and all of its grandeur. But the most curious part is the final shot in the teaser, in which a god marches forward and vanaras (monkeys) bow to him as if paying respect.

Now, apart from the larger-than-life visuals of the film, fans kicked off a discussion on social media, guessing who would be the man with saffron robes. Only his feet were shown in the teaser. Vanaras around him were seen bowing to him.

Netizens are assuming that the character would probably be Rana Daggubati. Some went overboard, saying the man could be Rishab Shetty.

Going by the teaser, Mirai tells the story of ‘Super Yodha’ portrayed by actor Teja Sajja who is set on a mission to save sacred scriptures. He would eventually face a formidable force played by Manchu Manoj, whose mission is to end humanity. Moreover, fans believe that the character is going to be a cameo in the film just to give a dose of high to film lovers.

Mirai hogged limelight with the teaser for its visual grandeur. Blending mythology with science fiction, his superhero genre seems to have created an epic adventure.  

The adventure film is slated for a grand theatrical release on September 5, this year. Directed by Karthik Gattamneni, the film features a stellar ensemble cast and crew of Manchu Manoj, Ritika Nayak, Shriya Saran, Jayaram and Jagapathi Babu in key roles.
