Kamal Haasan is so frustrated with the developments surrounding Thug Life controversy. As per media reports, He decided to halt the release of his movie in Karnataka and informed the same to the court. Already, the court suggested Kamal tender an apology and put an end to the issue but he did not. Kamal penned a detailed letter defending himself but the Karnataka Film Chamber continued to fire against the actor.
In the view of the same, Kamal not only withdrew the petition seeking the police protection but also decided to drop the release of the movie in the state. Now, it all looks silly and unnecessary to many. Kamal could have easily avoided the controversy from gaining traction with a simple apology. But, he went on to decide to stall the film’s release altogether.
Kamal Haasan is also one of the producers of Thug Life and he may have decided to bear the losses if any. He might also have prepared himself mentally to face everything that follows but the question that remains is what would he do for his future releases. If Kamal is adamant of not giving an apology, the Karnataka Film Chamber will continue to raise an issue everytime his films come for a release.
Either Kamal intentionally went ahead with this new decision knowing he is the producer. He may have tendered an apology if the film is bankrolled by someone else. But, it is all an assumption and the fans honestly wanted to put an end to the controversy.
But, one thing is clear that the issues will not end for Kamal until he finds an amicable solution.
