Fans were already sceptical about holding the IPL finale in Ahmedabad, which is regarded as one of the lifeless stadiums in the country due to the lack of the cricketing culture in Gujarat.
To make matters worse, the earlier game in this Gujarat Stadium which marks the face off between Mumbai and Punjab was severely affected due to rain as the start guard delayed by nearly 2 hours.
And now, just hours before the start of the IPL finale between Bengaluru and Punjab, which is being anticipated highly amongst Cricket fans, it has reportedly started to rain at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
The latest report reports are suggesting that it has started to rain heavily at the Ahmedabad Stadium, where the finale is scheduled to start in a short while.
As we had reported earlier, in case the game cannot be held today, then there is a reserve day which is scheduled for June 4. And if it happens to rain, even on June 4, and the game cannot be organised, then Punjab will be declared as the winner of the trophy due to the fact that they finished above RCB in the league.
