Popular music composer Anirudh Ravichander has addressed the recent rumours about his alleged marriage plans with Kavya Maran, daughter of Sun Group chairman Kalanithi Maran. The speculation began after a viral Reddit post claimed that Anirudh and Kavya had been dating for over a year and were preparing for a wedding, with even superstar Rajinikanth reportedly involved in family discussions.
As the rumours spread, social media was filled with reports of the two being seen together at various locations, including star hotels and even in Las Vegas. Some fans even pointed to old interviews and tarot readings predicting Anirudh’s marriage to someone from the broadcasting industry, adding to the buzz.
Putting an end to all the speculation, Anirudh took to X (formerly Twitter) to clarify the situation. He posted, “Marriage ah? lol .. Chill out guys 😃 pls stop spreading rumours 🙏🏻”, making it clear that there is no truth to the wedding rumours at this time.
Anirudh, known for his work with leading stars like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Thalapathy Vijay, and Shah Rukh Khan, has often been the subject of relationship rumours. He has previously stated that he is single and not planning to get married soon.
Meanwhile, Kavya Maran continues her work with Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Sun Group. For now, both Anirudh and Kavya remain focused on their respective careers, and there is no official news about any wedding plans. Fans can look forward to more music from Anirudh, while the rumours are firmly put to rest.
