Fatima Sana Clarifies Her ‘Casting Couch in South’ Comment

Actress Fatima Sana Sheikh is caused quite a stir in the south film industry as she had claimed that she experienced casting couch incidents from film producers.

The actress is again at it as she said in an interview that a casting agent asked her if she actually ready to do everything in lieu of film project. 

Initially, she was a bit off when she couldn’t react to it. Later the actress tried to convince the opposite person saying that she could do every possible thing that is required to play the character. 

She further admitted that she played dumb just to check to what extent the casting agent can get. Some directors and producers down south would talk about the casting couch openly but not directly.

During an interview to a media house, Fatima Sana said her words were twisted and taken out of context giving an impression that she actually insinuating south film industries are trying exploit woman actors.

She said not every film industry in South is like that. She was talking about one particular incident and suddenly this was got blown out of proportion.

Fatima Sana maintained that every woman has to go under such exploitation. Many girls respective in all demographics and sectors have to experience such things in day to day life, and not restricted to cinema alone.
