Dhanush Expresses Wish to Direct Pawan Kalyan at Kuberaa Event

At the pre-release event of Kuberaa held in Hyderabad, Dhanush made a statement that pleasantly surprised fans. While talking about his interest in Telugu cinema, the actor shared, “I would like to direct Pawan Kalyan sir if I get the chance.” His comment instantly caught attention and sparked excitement among the audience.

Dhanush has always spoken highly of Pawan Kalyan — not just for his on-screen presence but also for his personality off-screen. “I’ve always admired him, not just for his movies but also for who he is outside of films,” he added, showing his long-standing respect for the star.

Directed by Sekhar Kammula, Kuberaa features Dhanush in the lead, with Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead and Nagarjuna playing a significant role. The film is set for release on June 20. The pre-release event brought the entire team together, including special guests like director S. S. Rajamouli, making it a lively evening filled with fun, music, and fanfare.

Though there’s no official confirmation yet, Dhanush’s wish to direct Pawan Kalyan has left fans curious. It’s a combination many would love to see happen. For now, all eyes are on Kuberaa and its June 20 release. But Dhanush’s directorial dream could just be the start of something big in the near future.
