No Plans for a Forced Sequel to Raja Saab: Maruthi

At the grand teaser launch event held in Hyderabad, with national media in attendance, one key question lingered—will The Raja Saab be released in two parts, like many high-budget films these days? Director Maruthi offered a firm and clear response:
“We’ll only think about a sequel after completing the first installment. Don’t worry, I won’t leave the story half-done just to set up a second part.” He added, Both Prabhas and I are on the same page.

In recent times, the trend of splitting large-scale films into two parts has picked up, mainly to accommodate expansive storylines and capitalize on audience anticipation. While this strategy often pays off, Maruthi appears determined to deliver a complete cinematic experience in one go. “If I ever think of a sequel, it won’t be forced,” he emphasized, underlining his commitment to organic storytelling.
