What Went Wrong with Rana Naidu Season 2?

Rana Naidu is one of the original web series that Netflix presented to the audience, but it has done a lot of damage to the platform. There was more criticism against the series than appreciation because of the foul language, adult content, and vulgarity.

The makers received the feedback and decided to avoid such content in the second season. Season 2 premiered on the 13th of this month, but it resulted in disappointment again.

Starring Rana Daggubati, Venkatesh Daggubati, Surveen Chawla, Arjun Rampal and others, the series avoided the objectionable content but the slow drama played the spoilsport. Soon after season 2 went live, there was a lot of criticism against it with multiple negative reviews pouring on social media.

Many audiences expected that Venkatesh would have a lengthy role, but are not happy with his limited appearance. Also, the plot did not impress the viewers and the boring screenplay did not go well with them.

Despite Rana’s towering screen presence, the scenes involving Surveen Chawala, and nothing else about Rana Naidu, are becoming the talk of the town.

For some reason, Rana Naidu 2 was also not promoted aggressively like the first season. Moreover, from the beginning, it is widely speculated that the content might not woo the Telugu audiences. Venkatesh might have intentionally stayed away from the promotions too.

We have to see if the makers revive the show for a third season.
