Pushpa Raj Beats Bollywood Biggies in TRP War!

Icon star Allu Arjun recently received Telangana state’s Gaddar Award for his performance in the film Pushpa 2. The film’s craze and reach is unparalleled. Directed by Sukumar, the film which was released in December last year shattered all the records across the nation by collecting 1800 Cr rupees at the box office. Now, the film set a new record in terms of TRP ratings in Hindi.

Despite the film being made available on OTT in no time after the film’s theatrical release, a lot of audiences have watched the film on Television. The Hindi version was premiered very recently and it amassed 5.1 TVR rating and reaching a massive 5.4 crore viewers. It is pure dominance of Pushpa Raj in North India.

Allu Arjun created a new record on Television with Pushpa 2 by surpassing the TRP records of Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal and others with a huge margin. For someone coming from South and dominating the entire North belt and even beating the superstars of Hindi cinema, this is a huge achievement.

What’s more interesting is that Pushpa 2 achieved this when IPL was at peak stage. The film also surpassed the viewership of IPL, which itself is a big achievement.

Allu Arjun will next be seen in Atlee’s direction and the project will definitely earn more craze.
