“Dil Raju garu cheptharu,” Keerthy on VD’s Next

It has been a long time since Keerthy Suresh was seen in Telugu films. Her last appearance in a straight Telugu film was in the 2023 release, Bholaa Shankar. Now, she is returning to Telugu cinema with OTT film, Uppu Kappurambu. Meanwhile, there were also rumours about her inclusion in Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming film “Rowdy Janardhana” with director Ravi Kiran Kola and producer Dil Raju.

Recently, Keerthy Suresh was asked about these rumours during the promotions of Uppu Kappurambu. Responding to the same, she said that Dil Raju will answer the question. She didn’t deny that she is a part of the film, which many people are taking as a hint at her inclusion in the movie.

So, we have to see if Dil Raju will make an official announcement about Keerthy’s inclusion in Rowdy Janardhana anytime soon. If signed, this would be Keerthy’s first film with Vijay. Earlier, they were seen in films like Mahanati, Jathi Ratnalu and Kalki 2898 AD, but haven’t shared screenspace together in those movies.

Coming to Uppu Kappurambu, it is slated for its world premiere on July 4 on Amazon Prime Video. It stars Suhaas in the other lead role. It is directed by Ani Sasi and produced by Radhika Lavu.
