Hrithik-NTR Face-Off To be a Highlight In War 2

The 2019 released War featured Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff in the lead roles. Now, a follow up is almost ready and will be hitting the screens on August 14th. Along with Hrithik Roshan, the film features Jr NTR as the new addition to the cast.

While the first part was directed by Siddharth Anand, the second part will be directed by Ayan Mukerji. The director opened up on the film in a recent interview and acknowledged that he had a huge responsibility to carry.

“It is a huge responsibility to take forward a hugely loved franchise like WAR and leave your mark on it,” said the director.

Bringing two big stars into a single film will always be fascinating but at the same time, it should also pay off. When asked about the same, the director said, “I have to be honest as a filmmaker and I also know the expectations that I carry with this project from fans of both stars. But, I tried to be as honest as possible in giving a lifetime experience for the fans.”

Ayan Mukerji also bets high on the action sequences in the film, highlighting that the face off between the two stars would be immense. With Kiara Advani playing the female lead, the film is clashing with Rajinikanth’s Coolie on August 14th.
