How Dil Raju Is Seeing AI, the Future of Cinema

Artificial Intelligence is slowly taking over the film industry, but it is not entirely killing creativity. For now, AI is being implemented aggressively in the music industry. The composers are using the voices of deceased singers and also designing background tracks with the use of AI. In this scenario, Dil Raju shared his thoughts on how AI is being implemented in the film industry. Since he already started something called Lorven AI on similar lines, he is more into this debate.

Dil Raju confidently stated that he is going to implement AI into scripting, production, as well as post-production, and even during the promotions. Dil Raju revealed that AI will help filmmakers in developing a script. “When they give a prompt, the AI will tell them the story drive. Additionally, it will also tell if there is a bad scene in the screenplay. Both the old filmmakers and the upcoming filmmakers can make use of the same. Earlier, there used to be multiple people in a discussion room, but now, with AI, it cuts down the number of people,” said Dil Raju.

Dil Raju also shared that AI can do wonders, and it will be hugely advantageous to filmmakers in the coming days. But, it is practically not possible. The Hollywood writers called for a strike as soon as they discovered this trend taking over. Dil Raju rubbed it off, saying the Telugu film industry lacks writers. However, AI can drive the story forward, but it can not be as good as a human brain. Many people predict that this trend will rule for a while but then it will be pushed away. However, Dil Raju wants to make use of it the most before the trend gets outdated.

On the work front, Dil Raju’s next release is Thammudu, starring Nithiin in the lead role. The film will head for release next month.
