DRD 1st Project Will Be Finalized By July End: Dil Raju

Star producers Dil Raju and Sirish have launched a new platform called Dil Raju Dreams, in the presence of guests, and also 2000+ aspirants.

This initiative is designed to give young and talented individuals a dedicated space to showcase their skills and enter the Telugu film industry.

Dil Raju shared the vision behind DRD, stating, “At Sri Venkateswara Creations, we’re currently focused on high-profile projects. With Harshith and Hansitha also venturing into big-budget productions, we felt the need for a parallel platform to promote emerging talent. That’s how Dil Raju Dreams was born.”

He added that DRD is backed by a team of 14 young professionals with strong technical knowledge in filmmaking, and also includes a dedicated CEO. “Script selection will go through multiple stages, and we will mentor the selected individuals at every step,” he explained.

“The official operations of DRD will commence on July 1st, with the first project expected to be finalized by the end of July,” as revealed by Dil Raju.

Vijay Deverakonda, who attended the event as a special guest, shared his emotional connection with the initiative. “14 years ago, I used to search for casting calls and was lucky to land one for Sekhar Kammula’s Life Is Beautiful. That film changed our lives,” he reminisced.

“When I heard about DRD, I could feel the excitement among all the aspiring artists. Even if this helps just one person’s dream come true, it will be a remarkable success.”

Dil Raju Dreams promises to become a launchpad for the next generation of storytellers, actors, and technicians in Telugu cinema, a step forward in bridging the gap between aspiration and opportunity.
