Praveena Paruchuri who acted and also backed films like C/o Kancharapalem and Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya turned director with the new movie. Kothapallilo Okappudu tells the story of a young man from a quiet village whose life spins out of control after one small incident sets off a series of unexpected events.
Mixing village traditions, playful mischief, and local drama, the film explores themes of identity, destiny, and the funny side of tradition. Shot by an award-winning cinematographer from Los Angeles, the film brings together Indian emotion and global visual style.
