No Trailer, No Promotions – Will Ghaati Be Postponed Again?

Anushka Shetty and director Krish Jagarlamudi’s long-delayed film “Ghaati” finally fixed its release date as July 11. However, there is no noise from the team even when there are only 10 days left for the release. This silence from the makers is making people wonder whether the film will be postponed once again.

After announcing the release date, Ghaati’s team unveiled the first song, Sailore, recently. However, the song couldn’t manage to strike a chord with the audience and didn’t increase the anticipation around the film. For the last one week, there hasn’t been any update from the makers. The promotions haven’t kicked off yet. The trailer has not been released yet, and the pre-release event’s date is not fixed. All these should happen in less than 10 days if the makers stick to releasing the film on July 11. However, if we think realistically, all these cannot happen in just 10 days, and thus, the film may most likely get postponed again. If it gets postponed now, it may have to look for a new release date in August. Anyway, we have to see if the makers come up with an update soon.

Ghaati marks Anushka’s return to the silver screen after a gap of two years. Her last release was Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty, which was released in 2023. Even director Krish didn’t have a release over the last three years, as his last film Kondapolam was released way back in 2021. Later, he walked out of Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu due to constant postponements but it looks like he had no luck with Ghaati too as this movie is also succuming to constant delays.
